Ricardo Moniz is the new coach of Notts County. The club, founded in 1862, which is likely to be relegated from League One (third level in England), on Tuesday announced that the 50-year-old Dutchman has put his signature under a contract.
Last week, the deal could not be completed because Moniz had first to settle some family matters. Dave Kevan will assist him with the ‘Magpies’ from Nottingham.
Moniz has some experience in the English league. He worked previously with Martin Jol at Tottenham Hotspur. Then he stood on its own feet as a trainer include serving Hamburger SV (interim), Red Bull Salzburg and Munich in 1860. At Notts County debuts Moniz Saturday against Yeovil Town. Wednesday, he for the first time for the group.
