ADO hopes to remain still without Wang from Category 1 – International Football

ADO Den Haag is on its way to an end to the acute financial problems. The club dropped a few weeks ago in a new direction, in which the liquidity deficit had to be eliminated without Chinese influences. That seems to work, so that the inhabitants of The Hague assume yet to remain in Category 2.

In early December ADO outside brought the club was heading for a financial deficit. The reason for this was that the Chinese owner Hui Wang did not fulfill its commitments to pay. in summer 3.7 million co-owner of United Vansen promised and would pay that amount in three installments. The deadline passed without any money appeared at the Hague charged. Since part (1.3 million) of the promised amount was already spent, took the actue financial problems far.

In January, yet openly doubted whether salaries in February it could be paid. The club decided not to wait any longer for a solution from China and opted for Plan B. Without Chinese influences had to be eliminated the hole. If the club succeeded in this, it could still remain in Category 1 of the license commission of the KNVB.

That seems to be the case. ADO will in the coming days ask the KNVB to be returned to the safe Category 2. The union gave the club until March 4 to give you time to answer. The inhabitants of The Hague ahead of schedule and have now achieved a solution to the looming liquidity shortage. This meets the club to the conditions.
