De Jong away at SC Cambuur – Telegraaf.nl

Coach Henk de Jong gets immediately on at SC Cambuur. The club from Leeuwarden fighting relegation

.

the Young finds himself in his own words no longer the right person for the Frisian club coming months to lead off the relegation zone. Cambuur stands for last in the league, just one point above last placed De Graafschap.

De Jong worked since late 2010 at Cambuur, first as an assistant. In the final months of the 2012-2013 season, he led the Frisian club as interim head coach for the championship in the Jupiler League and promotion to the Premier League. After nearly a year as assistant Dwight Lodeweges he was transferred to the position of head coach in the spring of 2014.

Always talkative

The ever talkative Fries won last season with Cambuur a points record at the highest level, good for a quick second. This season, however, the results are very disappointing. “Despite the support I still feel the club, board, management and supporters, I feel that something needs to change and that this is the right time to move on,” said De Jong Tuesday on the website of his club. “With a heavy heart I say goodbye, but this is the best for Cambuur. Everyone at this fantastic club, I wish all the best.”

Cambuur won this season, only two of the 22 league games. The last victory dates back to just before the winter break, against Excelsior. This calendar year the Frisian team lost all five league matches

The tasks of De Jong provisionally perceived by his assistants Sipke Hulshoff, John Brown and Arne Slot

Prima trainer but if the results for a club like Cambuur very well be the best players to be sold. So you will always be to build until there is no more representative team remains and those players you stay down.

Very unfortunate but understandable. Directors will be happy. Ype called him once the farmer Harkema and wondered what Cambuur had with him. Gerald happy vd Belt saw that it is a good trainer. If your best players to be sold simple and you do not get the same caliber back, it is difficult to have to act on the same level. Henk success with whatever you are doing.

I think someone is looking for FC Groningen Henk. For redundancy will be no worry for football coaches.

Henk de Jong is a Frisian Frisian and therefore does not belong to v.v. Cambuur but with pride of Friesland Heerenveen. He will replace Foppe, mark my words. Cute promotion!

I’m not Frisian, but a great admirer of the man and coach Henk de Jong. Always tidy, original and very positive in his statements. A major stimulator. Too bad he has resigned in the interest of SC Cambuur.

in and sad. I wished him better future. They think he is the Savior with a team of one tonne and then sell the best player in the competition. I hope as a supporter of the NEC that he is back again at a club that has more money than wishes or demands. Henk, take a few weeks vacation and look around.

His contract would not be renewed anyway and I think Henk de Jong also realizes that he can make nothing more of it. Moreover, the relationship with policy makers is disturbed considerably. Hope for him that he still gets his money until the summer and can focus in the meantime by another club.
