Robert Huth (twice) and Riyad Mahrez scored the goals for Leicester City. Sergio Agüero did in the final stage something back on behalf of City.
The victory strengthens Leicester the lead in the Premier League with 53 points after 25 matches. City has six fewer points and dropped to third place. Even Arsenal can still pass the Citizens’ Sunday.
Leicester awarded against the team of the season after leaving Manuel Pellegrini a dream start at the Etihad Stadium. Robert Huth put the visitors already putting the lead from a free kick Mahrez after two minutes.
The team of Claudio Ranieri dominated the early stages and City was lucky to Leicester no further boosted the score . As the first half progressed, the home side came more into the game and gave it some possibilities. Aguero was on the stroke of half the most dangerous, but his sharp cross went past everyone

Huth
In the second half Leicester scored again soon. Mahrez completed a counterattack beautifully. Defender Huth decided after an hour with his second goal of the game in the top of the Premier League. The German knocked the corner kick from Christian Fuchs pretty inside.
In the final minutes Manchester City fell of despair with courage. The goal of Agüero arrived too late to reduce the tension. Leicester will be the convincing victory confidently living towards the clash with Arsenal next week

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur took full advantage of the defeat of City and grew by 1-0 win over Watford to second place. Kieran Trippier made after more than an hour of play the only goal of the game.
Nathan Aké played the entire game at Watford that tenth state. Reserve goalkeeper Michel Vorm did not play on behalf of the Spurs.
Newcastle United recorded an important victory in the fight against relegation. West Bromwich Albion were defeated 1-0 by scoring after half an hour of the Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Daryl Janmaat and Georginio Wijnaldum had a starting spot at Newcastle. Tim Krul, Vurnon Anita and Siem de Jong were due to injuries in the stands.
The victory has Steve McClaren formation 24 points after 25 games and is the one place above the relegation place. Newcastle passed Norwich City, which lost 2-0 at last placed Aston Villa. The team Leandro Bacuna Norwich won through goals from Joleon Lescott and Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Liverpool
Liverpool lost valuable points in the home match against Sunderland. In the final minutes, the visitors thanks to goals from Adam Johnson and Jermain Defoe back to 2-2.
Without coach Jürgen Klopp who was sick and probably suffered appendicitis, Liverpool seemed on his way to an easy victory. Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana gave the Reds’ comfortable lead, but in the final it went wrong.
Liverpool is the tie eighth in the rankings. It was passed by Everton. The rival won 3-0 at Stoke City with goals from Romelu Lukaku, Seamus Coleman and Aaron Lennon. Erik Pieters did at Stoke the distance along, Ibrahm Afellay was replaced after an hour.
Swansea City against Crystal Palace ended 1-1.
