Two suspects tennis parties in the Netherlands – Telegraaf.nl

When two tennis matches played in the Netherlands last year, was possible existence of match fixing. According to a report by the European gokwaakhond ESSA. To which two parties and what level it is, is not clear

ESSA Thursday published data showing that the global 73 tennis matches as suspect identified by a special system that monitors gambling. That means that there is a suspicion of match fixing, though not fixed. There is often unusually gambling, suggesting that players were paid to lose intentionally.

Tennis Federation KNLTB is aware of the suspicions. walk examine it to the games, but as long as it comes to suspicions, the union will not say who’s playing and where the party took place. There are in the union no further suspicions known, and no further investigations into the parties walk where possible existence of match fixing.

In the Netherlands have previously been suspicions of match fixing. In 2014, a study was launched on two tennis parties. The first was a game of Matwé Middelkoop in Alphen aan den Rijn, where no subsequent evidence of corruption was found. In the same year tennis federation KNLTB reported that tennis Antal van der Duim and Boy Westerhof had played an accused party in the German Meerbusch.

The report of ESSA shows that nineteen football matches and a total of eight tennis next 73 tennis matches -, hockey, snooker and greyhound races as suspect identified in 2015. most of the accused tennis parties have played in Turkey (eight), Tunisia and Argentina (both seven)
