Verstappen, earlier in the day seventh in the first free practice session, recorded a best lap of 1.47,427 at the Marina Bay Circuit. In total, he finished 31st in his Toro Rosso. His team-mate Carlos Sainz was only himself back on the fifteenth place, just over half a second from the young Dutchman.
Red Bull driver Kvyat came to a time of 1.46,142 and was thus a fraction of a second quicker than Kimi Raikkonen (1.46,256) and his teammate Daniel Ricciardo (1.46,256).
World Championship leader Lewis Hamilton did not go beyond the fourth time. His Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, in the first free practice session the fastest, finished seventh, still behind Sebastian Vettel and Sergio Perez

Manor
Manor also saw in the second free practice major problems. After rookie Alexander Rossi in the first session, lost control of his car, now made Will Stevens soon a red flag with a light touch with the wall.
Saturday following the third practice session and qualifying. The next day starts at 14.00 hours Dutch time the race.
Hamilton cherishes a lead of 53 points on Rosberg in World Cup mode. Verstappen occupied the twelfth place
