Femke Heemskerk Wednesday has a silver medal in the 100m freestyle swimming at the European Championships in Berlin.
The Dutch tapped second in 53.64. The title went to the Swedish Sarah Sjöström in 52.76.
It is Heemskerk her second medal at this distance at a European Championship after her bronze medal in 2010.
This EK picked them already two other silver paste the 4×100 meter freestyle with the women and the mixed relay at the 4×100 meters medley.
