Michael van Gerwen has reached the semifinals of the Perth Darts Masters. The world champion, last week in Singapore all the best in a similar tournament on the intercontinental stage, was too strong for the British-born Australian Paul Nicholson 8-3. Van Gerwen took the fabulous average of 118.21 points per turn. Tomorrow he takes on James Wade.
Raymond van Barneveld was eliminated in the quarterfinals. The ‘big’ Phil Taylor was the Hagenaar again the boss: 8-4.
