The International Olympic Committee fends three African athletes of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing starting tomorrow. It involves two martial artists and one swimmer. In this exercise, the risk of infection with the virus is greatest, already stressed the IOC that the risk is still extremely small.
All athletes and coaches from West Africa are regularly medically examined during the Games. The Ebola virus took in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria in 1000 certainly lives.
Sierre Leone (10 athletes) and Nigeria (12) withdrew earlier itself back from the Youth Olympic Games , they say, under pressure from the Chinese authorities. The tournament in the Chinese city ends on August 28th.
