LONDON – PSV is the first home game in the Premier League made a goal fest. The team of coach Phillip Cocu rolled NAC
Breda 6-1 on Saturday. Memphis Depay was again the big hitter with two rake free kicks. Also last week, the attacker twice successful.
NAC played in the first half at times better than PSV, but had to after the break with three goals in six minutes from Eindhoven quickly bending the head.
Exciting weeks
coach Phillip Cocu and very PSV wait another two exciting weeks to conclude the transfer market. The club from Eindhoven would not only like to get yourself a minimum of two reinforcements, but even more important is whether Depay stays with PSV.
The left winger currently raises just about every game, his market value with goals and assists.
Constant threat
number 7 PSV is constantly threatening, already running Depay himself in his enthusiasm sometimes even beyond.
At NAC, he broke open the game after 20 minutes with a great opening pass on Georginio Wijnaldum, who shot the ball movement behind goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar.
Own goal
Barely 5 minutes later Depay sent right back Santiago Arias away and his cross was worked in unfortunate fashion by NAC defender Aleksandar Damcevski own goal (2 0).
Despite the comfortable lead PSV brought himself yet again in trouble by laconic and careless play.
Angel from the game
Adnane Tighadouini released from NAC-induced Arias penalty back into the game (2-1), but then failed to score level to draw. The left winger was in the first half only to be stopped by the PSV defense.
Tighadouini had two opportunities to level the score. When he had to leave the field injured shortly after halftime, the angel disappeared from the game of NAC, that calm at times played soccer better than PSV. With three goals in a span of six minutes the home team then decided the game.
Slotakkoord
Between 51 and 57 minutes, the home team scored three times through Depay (free kick), Jürgen Locadia (bang with left) and Wijnaldum (after a flowing attack).
The final chord was Depay best player, again from a free kick, almost identical to the first.
