Steven Gerrard has a defeat goodbye to Anfield, the famous stadium of Liverpool. He lost the last home match with his club Crystal Palace (1-3).

Adam Lallana lap Liverpool still ahead, but then hit Jason Puncheon, Wilfried Zaha and Glenn Murray goal for the visitors. Liverpool therefore can not finish fourth and missing next season’s Champions League. Manchester United on the other hand is now assured of a place in the top four.

The 34-year-old Gerrard played football for Liverpool seventeen years. He became champion but never won the Champions League, the World Cup and the UEFA Cup with his club. The midfielder will play next season for the American LA Galaxy.
