Ajax seems a step further to go to get back Rafael van der Vaart to Amsterdam. According to De Telegraaf keep the Amsterdammers no longer insists on a one-year contract. Also a commitment for two seasons would be negotiable for Ajax. Van der Vaart has been initially be offered a contract for one season.
