The Ajax goals came in the name of Arek Milik (’18, after fumbling in Tilburg defense) and Anwar El Ghazi (’67 and ’90). El Ghazi scored in the opening game against AZ already twice.

The team of coach Frank de Boer played a long time in a low speed to bring the defense of Willem II frequently embarrassed. The visitors from Tilburg remained fairly simple upright but could not prevent a mistake by Stijn Wuytens was severely punished. El Ghazi, however, did not go beyond a weak effort that ended on the inside of the post. The right winger seemed ripe for a change, until a minute after his miss, the ball popped from such a meter or eighteen hard corner (2-0).

With that goal the game was decided and dare coach De Boer to bring Vaclav Cerny. The seventeen year old talent from the Czech Republic celebrated its debut in the ArenA with a handy ball on the well sunken Lasse Schöne. The Dane reached El Ghazi, who had scoring his fourth league goal in two games.
