The 33-year-old Frenchman was Wednesday appointed by the European football federation UEFA for the game in the Astana Arena, where at 22:00 local time (18:00 in the Netherlands) will kick off.
Turpin is known in Netherlands because of his performance earlier this year at the European Feyenoord against AS Roma (2-1).
