The (administrative) unrest around Heerenveen continues to increase . Now the Frisian club – formerly a beacon of peace – has been linked to Chinese investors, the grassroots is very worried. On social media and on internet forums emotions run high. The supporters ask the government for an explanation.
On Wednesday it was announced that rapprochement of the Chinese investment company Beijing Succesful Investment Managment (BSIM) has led to a fight within the administration. President Jelko van der Wiel would brook no interference from Aziië, while other board members would wish with the Chinese in the sea. Van der Wiel got last week told the media that he be fired.
BSIM would want to stabbing 23 to 35 million euros in the club. In addition there is also interest in the sports complex next to the Abe Lenstra Stadium.
