Cambuur booked against NEC first win, draw with ADO Willem II – NU.nl

Bartholomew Ogbeche was good for two matches against NEC on behalf of Cambuur. The third was an own goal by Christian Santos. NEC scored by Cambuur striker Xander Houtkoop worked the ball into his own goal.

Despite the victory remains Cambuur seventeenth in the Premiership. The team from Leeuwarden has ten points. Number sixteen FC Twente, which won 2-1 at De Graafschap, has three points more.

NEC remains the number seven of the league. The Nijmegen however, may be overtaken Sunday by PEC Zwolle and FC Utrecht

Corner

Ogbeche brought the team from Leeuwarden after twenty minutes in the lead. The striker received the ball after a corner at his feet and shot a hit. Long Cambuur could not enjoy the 1-0, because a few minutes later it was again equal through an own goal by Houtkoop.

Shortly after the break it was again Ogbeche which was decisive for the home side. The Nigerian was again effective after a corner. Cambuur then escaped the tying run when Daan Bovenberg behalf NEC hit the bar.

ADO Willem II
