Ajax has for his home crowd made a fine win at SC Heerenveen; 5-2. The Amsterdammers showed good football in the ArenA, but saw the Frisians scored twice inadvertently.

Ajax took an early lead 1-0 Viktor Fischer. The lead was then within half an hour expanded into a 3-0 lead through goals from Arek Milik and Amin Younes. The goal of Fischer was preceded by a brilliant attack across multiple drives.
Immediately after the break did SC Heerenveen something back with a goal from Mitchell Te Vrede. However, the hopes of the Frisians was quickly drilled in the ground, after Viktor Fischer soon took 4-1. Davy Klaassen expanded the result 20 minutes later to make it 5-1. Milik missed his chance for his second goal of the evening. He shot a penalty high over the bar.
Fifteen minutes before cheered Te Vrede again. He took advantage of a miscalculation of Cillessen and made it 5-2. SC Heerenveen got more space for the Amsterdammers, but the team of coach Foppe de Haan could not profit in the remaining quarters.
