Kromowidjojo and Heemskerk to semifinals at 100 meters free – NU.nl

The 25-year-old Kromowidjojo was in the series, the fastest in a time of 51.80. Heemskerk qualified with the fifth fastest time (52.84) also for the semi-final.

Robin Neumann series was the final station. She came to a time of 53.84. The Swedish Sarah Sjöström was the second fastest in 52.23. The semi-finals are later on Thursday.

Inge Dekker simply reached the semifinals of the 50 meters butterfly. She swam the fourth time in the series: 25.67. The Danish Jeanette Ottesen was fastest in 25.23.

Marrit Steenbergen secured a spot in the semifinals 100 meters medley. The talented swimmer touched after 59.91. The Hungarian Katinka Hosszu was a class apart and 57.52 by far the fastest in the series.



Brzoskowski

Martin Brzoskowski got through to the final of the 200 meters freestyle. He scored in the series, the seventh time: 1.44,06. Sebas van Lith clocked in the 200 meter breaststroke 2.06,81, a hundredth above his personal best, but is missing the final.

In order for the 4×50 mixed relay teams, the Dutch team qualified third for the final . Jesse Puts, Van Lith, Dekker and Kromowidjojo won the second series in 1.40,12.

In the other series were Russia (1.39,62) and Italy (1.39,83) slightly faster. The final of the mixed relay number is Thursday’s finale of the second EK-day
