PSV profited by the 2-1 home win over CSKA Moscow most of the nearly fifty percent increase in prize money this year in the main European club tournament.
The club from Eindhoven qualified for the first time in nine years for the knock-out phase of the Champions League and as a 5.5 million euro.
That is in addition to the 20.8 million euros that PSV had been playing together in the group stage.

The entry fee this year in the Champions League is in fact 12 million, revenue from TV rights amount to 3.8 million euro and the three home victories (1.5 million per victory) and the draw at Manchester United (0.5 million per draw) 5 million was earned.
PSV heard Monday at the draw who will meet in the last sixteen. Possible placement for the quarter-finals would give the Dutch champions a bonus of 6 million euro
