FC Utrecht can get for sixth time Cup Final – Voetbal International

The first semifinal of the tournament for the KNVB Cup stands for Wednesday on the program. FC Utrecht to win VVSB, it stands for the sixth time in history in the final.

FC Utrecht won the finals for the first time in 1982, when AZ was too strong over two matches. In 1985, the cup would go to the cathedral city, when Helmond Sport was in the final reports.

The beginning of the new century were glory years for FC Utrecht, because in 2002, 2003 and 2004 the club reached the final of the cup. In that first year, losing to Ajax the club, but the Domstedelingen took in 2003 and 2004 to beat the price within by Feyenoord and FC Twente.

The duel with VVSB, the second amateur ever to qualify for the semifinals, starting Wednesday at 20:45. The other semifinal is Thursday between Feyenoord and AZ.
