For the English rugby players the World Cup in their own country has turned into a drama. The host country lost Saturday in London’s’ rugby temple at Twickenham by 33-13 of Australia.
England, world champion in 2003, was the second defeat in Group A disabled for a continuation in the tournament. Australia and Wales are assured of a place in the quarter-finals and compete next week in a mutually duel only to Group profits.
The English opened the World Cup two weeks ago with a victory over Fiji, but then had a painful collect defeat against Wales. The zeperd against Australia means that England first host country to a World Cup aground in the group stage.
