Go Ahead Eagles has a good chance on a ticket for the preliminary round of the Europa League. The club from Deventer is one matchday before the end of the season second in the Fair Play standings, behind FC Twente, which has already announced not in Europe wanting because of poor financial situation at the club.
Go Ahead Eagles do well on Sunday in the away match against Heracles Almelo to get sporty for the day. Both clubs is much more at stake. Heracles says goodbye to the home crowd. Go Ahead Eagles need the coming weeks via the playoffs enforcement in the Eredivisie secure. The club from Deventer still investigating whether it qualifies for a European license from UEFA. One problem is that Go Ahead 2 or July 9 can not play in their own Adelaarshorst. The stadium will be rebuilt.
Excelsior and SC Cambuur have views of a European ticket. The former club from Rotterdam is only sixth in the Fair Play standings, but is the second candidate for PSV and Ajax, the numbers three and four, are already sure of European football. Number five NEC does not qualify for a prize, because this season in the Jupiler League was active. Cambuur is ninth, behind number seven PSV (Jupiler League) and FC Groningen (Cup winner and thus already secured group stage Europa League).
