Huntelaar and Dost put an end to drought, drama Stevens – Parool.nl

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has today ended his long period without goals in the Bundesliga. The Dutch striker scored two goals for his club Schalke 04 in the home game against VfB Stuttgart. That he had an important share in the victory:. 3-2

Huntelaar stood since November 29 dry. At Stuttgart he had only nine minutes he needed for his first goal equalized making 1-0. Martin Harnik brought the team of coach Huub Stevens, however, for rest at the same height. Stuttgart came shortly after halftime even lead through Filip Kostic 1-2. Huntelaar then took care of the equalizer. There seemed to keep up, until Florian Klein in the 89th minute the ball worked into his own goal.

Stevens continues with his new team by the defeat last on the Bundesliga. Stuttgart has to cope with three duels 27 points. Hamburger SV, the number for last, a point more but Sunday is still in action against FSV Mainz 05. The bottom two teams relegated directly.

Stuttgart will therefore have to be at least sixteen not to fly directly from there . That place is now Hannover 96, which pretty equal playing at number two VfL Wolfsburg. There, too, a Dutchman after long drought could once again cheer for a goal.
