Orange Women for World Cup final – Telegraaf.nl

The 18 year old notch star Laura Aarts was the great heroine in Orange Women by stopping three Italian penalty throws.

Halfway harbored Orange a comfortable lead of 5-1, thanks mainly to the eminent Maud Megens which prefer scored four times. The daughter of former international Libregts Patricia and granddaughter of football Thijs Libregts hit her first four shots all purpose, including once beautifully backwards.

However, Orange gave the match in the second part hands. After the third quarter the lead was still 5-2, but in the last eight minutes, Italy, thanks to the mistakes of Orange back to 5-5.

After that was the last word on purpose Lady Aarts.

In the final, the team of coach Arno Havenga Friday night against the team of the United States.

At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing Orange surprisingly won the gold by the Americans in the final 9-8 defeat.
