Roda JC has the new Eredivisie season shot into motion with a 3-1 victory at Heracles Almelo. The newly promoted via the play-offs Limburgers deepest despair repeatedly return to their first Eredivisie game since relegation from the Jupiler League in 2014. Ex-Heraclied Edwin Gyasi was the great helmsman in Kerkrade.

The intentions for this season were in the first minutes of the new Eredivisie year immediately clear. Heracles want after the fifteenth place last season with offensive and spectacular football the middle attack, Roda will primarily reduce the occurrence of goals conceded. Trainer Darije Kalezic wore his players Friday still on especially naive after collecting 58 goals in the Jupiler League.

After half an hour it was the first opportunity for Heracles bullseye. The home side had the dominant visitors so far kept away from the goal of Benjamin van Leer, but when Iliass Bel Hassani on a pass from fellow luminary Brahim Darri moored was the 22-year-old afterthought beat. Shot Bel Hassani disappeared beyond the reach of Van Leer at the far post and marked the first Eredivisie goal by 2015/16

Just like Roda JC also returned Saturday Gibril Sankoh back in the Premier League. That comeback was extremely unfortunate, because just before half the former had FC Groningen defender leave the field injured after a challenge from Thomas Bruns.

It provided no indication as to the format for a good start to Heracles that last year seven games had to wait for the first point. Roda threw after trailing the diffidence more and more on themselves. It resulted after 35 minutes the equalizer of Gyasi (photo), who scored against his old club after a one-two with Anco Jansen. Three minutes after the break was Gyasi important again. Although his header ended up against the post, but the rebound was Tom Van Hyfte:. 2-1

Gyasi then continued to plague the Almelo defense. The 24-year-old striker was still at the base of some dangerous moments, but Bram Castro (former Roda) was further Limburg hits in the way. The Belgian goalkeeper tipped a shot from Hichaim Faik handsome corner. After Darri a high probability of the 2-2 had messed up, a shot of Faik took extra time, indeed the net. It was the culmination of the successful comeback of Eredivisie Roda.
