Real Madrid won tonight from the Bulgarian Ludogorets – albeit with difficulty. The Champions League match resulted in a 2-1. Hits on the side of Real came from Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Wesley Sneijder with Turkish Galatasaray a hefty defeat. Arsenal were 4-1 too strong. Danny Wellbeck scored three times, Alexis Sanchez once. After red for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny Burak Yilmaz scored on a penalty kick; the only goal against Galatasaray.
And the rest?
Dortmund wins, Olympiakos lose 2-0
In the same group Borussia Dortmund had no trouble with Anderlecht. In Brussels, Dortmund won 3-0. Ciro Immobile scored after three minutes, substitute Adrian Ramos introduced in the second half with the score on two hits.
Ibrahim Afellay knew with Olympiakos Piraeus a bad night. The Greek club lost at Malmö FF 2-0. Afellay was substituted ten minutes from time. Former Ajax player Markus Rosenberg scored in the 42th and 82 minutes for Malmö. The Swedish club will now compete in group A, as all clubs are in it to three points after a victory at Atlético Madrid Juventus. Arda Turan scored with fifteen minutes to the only goal.
Benfica still no points
Bayer Leverkusen won 3-1 in group C with Benfica. Stefan Kiessling opened the scoring after 25 minutes by shooting. Released by a goalkeeper Julio Cesar ball inside The South Korean Heung-Min Son made a second goal, but after the break through Salvio Benfica came back to 2-1. A late penalty for Leverkusen was used by Hakan Çalhanoglu.
In the group of Leverkusen and Benfica played Zenit St Petersburg and AS Monaco earlier 0-0. Those last two teams have four points, Leverkusen has three. Benfica should still do it without items
