NL loses World Cup RoboCup – Telegraaf.nl

The Dutch soccer robots from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU / e) have seized the next RoboCup. In the final of the robot soccer world championship in China Hefei took TechUnited Wednesday against the Chinese team Water from Peking University. The Dutch were 4-1 pickled. “The defense of water was too strong,” Tech United announced via Twitter

The Eindhoven team had drafted robot players with nicknames like Robin van Compressed air, Gregory van der Gear and Robodinho.

United Tech was in 2013 and 2014 even though on Water in the final. In 2013 the Chinese were world champion, in 2014 the Dutch team fell to honor
