City Council indicates azc in Heesch off – NU.nl

The mayor and aldermen suggested previously to collect five hundred asylum seekers for up to ten years in the capital of Bernheze. That plan showed Thursday resolutely off the board.

Instead, a motion was adopted for small accommodating more people who have already received a residence permit. Over the municipality is required by law. The council wants that additional homes are built to catch on.

Another motion for a small reception center with up to three hundred applicants did not make it.



Unrest

The original proposal of the college in January met with much resistance. Information evenings at the town went restless, hung in the place where the asylum seekers’ center should be were dead pigs and Mayor Marieke Moorman got a pile of sand dumped on her driveway.

Debate

Thursday briefed <- - block end video> Moorman to why she has not withdrawn the proposal after the criticism: “Without proposal, there is no debate and then this college not cut his worth for the nose.”

Arrests

The police arrested Thursday night three people, two men for sedition and insult, a third had a knife in his pocket.
