Plans
the appointment of Infantino president of FIFA increases the chances of Michael van Praag on a top job at UEFA. The Swiss namely resigns as Secretary-General of the European Football Association and will also not follow the suspended president Michel Platini.
The new job Infantino as leader of FIFA has more impact. The Swiss has promised to expand the World Cup from 32 to 40 participants. This will lead to the European clubs which are heated debate that their top players are already taxed enough.
Infantino has further promised that the national associations between 2018 and 2022 will each receive $ 5 million to develop football . FIFA, however, suffers huge losses due to the many corruption scandals.
Infantino also said to bring an African Secretary-General to FIFA. Who should be appointed in May at a conference in Mexico City
