Barça puts PSG on the rack – Telegraaf.nl

Luis Suarez as big man did Barcelona in Paris excellent business in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. The Uruguayan made two great goals in the 1-3 victory of the Catalans at Paris Saint-Germain

Neymar already opened within 20 minutes the score in Paris. The Brazilian shook Gregory van der Wiel from him and completed a through ball from Lionel Messi neatly off:. 0-1

PSG captain Thiago Silva was right after that goal injured from the field. The Brazilian, apparently struggling with hamstring problems, was replaced just got fit compatriot David Luiz.

That same Luiz was after 70 minutes of play, the victim of a brilliant action by Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan played his opponent by the legs, kept two defenders as he came down and shot the 0-2.

Ten minutes later it was even more painful for Luiz. Again, he was played by his legs by Suarez and again completed the former Ajax player to finish off: 0-3

Van der Wiel was then still something back on behalf of PSG.. The shot from the right back was changed direction by Jeremy Mathieu making the 1-3 final score came on the scoreboard.

The loss was the first for PSG in 33 European home games. The last time the French had lost at home in 2006 against Hapoel Tel Aviv (2-4).
