The African Football (CAF) Morocco had been excluded from the next two editions of the Africa Cup as the country late last year decided to withdraw as the organizer of the final round in 2015.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation appealed against the sentence on appeal and was vindicated by the CAS, which Morocco may yet to participate in the editions of 2017 and 2019 of the African championship.
The country does not have to pay the 8 million euro in damages and a fine of 1 million. The CAS has reduced the penalty to $ 50,000.
Morocco decided to give back to the organization of the African Nations Cup in November for fear of further spread of the Ebola virus.
The previous request tournament moving to another period was rejected by the African federation. Equatorial Guinea finally was willing to take over the organization
