Robin van Persie has rallied in an illustrious list of footballers. The Manchester United striker is fifth on the list of big earners in football in 2014. Van Persie took last year about 25.6 million in salary and advertising revenue, as calculated in the magazine France Football that publishes the annual list .
Van Persie does not need to be ashamed of the players who more were deposited to their bank account. Lionel Messi is the absolute number one on the list, with a sloppy 65 million in revenue. The Argentine star of FC Barcelona won not only 28 million in sponsorship revenue. He was awarded for his achievements at Barça also another 36 million to pay.
Messi was evident with the record amount his eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo boss. The Portuguese Real Madrid was “only” 54 million credited. Neymar, the Brazilian ball virtuoso Barcelona, finished third with 36.5 million. Van Persie also had Thiago Silva still doing better. This Brazilian from Paris Saint-Germain earned 27.5 million.
