The American skater Shani Davis enters the autumn of his career to work for a Dutch team. The world champion in the 1000 meters talks this week in Erfurt with coach Gerard van Velde over a one-year contract with Team beslist.nl.

The 32-year-old American turned his skating career years itself, without the support of the American union or a commercial team. It earned him in 2006 (Turin) and 2010 (Vancouver) Olympic title in the 1,000 meters and also many world titles.
In the twilight of his career wants Davis, however, like to come to work as a team. The team Van Velde, which the Americans in December already trained a few days, he will find among others the brothers Michel and Ronald Mulder.
