ADO Den Haag has contaminated his standing in the second round of the KNVB Cup. The eredivisionist knew despite a 0-2 lead visiting Genemuiden not win. In overtime, the amateur club came also with 10 men to stand, but still managed Genemuiden on penalties eventually win
.
There seemed to be no problem with the air for ADO Den Haag. Kenji Gorré opened the scoring in the 19th minute and Mike Havenaar then made it 0-2. Just before half Genemuiden managed to make the subsequent hit by Anne van der Kolk.
After the break it was Van der Kolk again that might cheer. With a 2-2 draw had to be extended. ADO seemed to get away when Mike van der Kooy of Genemuiden was sent off with his second yellow card of the field. Two minutes later the amateur still made the 3-2 via Riemens. The extension was exploited to the utmost, because in the final seconds lap Ludcinio Marengo ADO still aboard.
Penalty
Penalty should prove a winner. In the end it really was Genemuiden that has spread to the third round of the Cup lap. Gorré, Gianni Zuiverloon and Kevin Jansen missed from the penalty spot for the eredivisionist.
