KNVB contact ADO ‘suspicious’ exhibition game – NU.nl

That says a spokesman for the Football Association to NU.nl. The KNVB is already in talks with Heerenveen on the awkwardly expired exhibition game against Standard Liege.

The reason for the contact with ADO is a message from Monday in Volkskrant on an analysis of a former gambling expert UEFA which the exhibition games of the Premier League clubs come forward.

According to the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) there are striking bets taken on the matches, both of which were finished in southern Spain .

ADO there very surprised. “We are really full of surprise. We have not seen strange things and there are no crazy goals cases. It’s really weird that there is now talk of a duel suspicious,” said a spokeswoman for the club.

Suspected business

Javier Mena of the ICSS, a private sportbeveilingingsorganisatie has a concrete suspect. “We suspect at least one to organize its business in Spain practice tournaments with the goal to make the fix matches and money on gambling.”

“It is mainly about duels of foreign clubs in Spain go to training camp. ” Presumably, the company has accused the game of ADO Den Haag organized, though the ICSS will not confirm that.

Probably ADO and Heerenveen were not aware of the manipulations. Thanks to two goals in the final won the club from Den Haag 2-0 Skenderbeu.

“The bets went to the rest according to normal patterns, then you see that there is a lot suddenly deployed on the goals of Dutch. This is definitely a suspicious match, “says another former gambling expert of UEFA.

Penalty

The game between Heerenveen and Standard Liege Friday was ended prematurely after the Frisians of the stepped field.
