Raymond van Barneveld has received a wildcard for the Premier League or Darts. The defending champion thanks the invitation partly due to its good performance at the World Championship Darts where Hagenaar reached the semifinals

Stephen Bunting and Kim Huybrechts will make their debut in the prestigious competition, while James Wade returns after a great 2014, which, inter alia The Masters and two PDC tournaments won. He also reached the final of the World Grand Prix.
The league of 16 weeks starts on February 5 in Leeds and follows along the British and Irish cities Bournemouth, Liverpool, Belfast, Exeter, Nottingham, Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester. After Manchester are the bottom two players down and prosecute the remaining 8 players the league in Sheffield, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle and Brighton. The final will be on May 21 to be finished at the 02 Arena in London
