Alonso holds no injuries on heavy crash – NUsport.nl

Fernando Alonso Sunday no serious injuries kept from his heavy crash during the test session of the Formula 1 in Barcelona.

The two-time world champion McLaren hit according to a statement from his team with the right side of his car a wall at the exit of Turn 3 at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Alonso was conscious and approachable, says McLaren. As a precaution, the Spaniard after first aid at the medical center at the circuit it was transported by helicopter to a hospital.

“These are the usual procedures in such circumstances,” said McLaren. Research showed that no injury on Alonso insisted the incident. He will remain overnight for observation in the hospital.

“It’s okay”, said Alonso’s advocate Luis Garcia Abad already know on Twitter. “Thank you for your interest.”
