Vitesse win for the sixth time in a row – Twente can not win again – nrc.nl

Vitesse stringing together victories in recent weeks. The team from Arnhem tonight won in-house 2-1 PEC Zwolle and thus recognizes the sixth win in a row. Before the home team had to first come back from behind, as PEC early in the game took the lead.

The new victory passes Vitesse of Zwolle in the position of the Eredivisie. Coach of the club Peter Bosz is now fifth, four points behind Feyenoord. Vitesse may still have to be be overtaken by SC Heerenveen, two points less and tomorrow another game to play.

Initially Arnhemmers seemed otherwise to face a tough night, when Mustafa Saymak visitors after 4 minutes, the lead. Through goals Bertrand Traoré and Davy Pröpper Vitesse knew the position however to bend. For PEC means that the fourth defeat in a row.



AZ wins and remains third

The number three from the state, AZ, won tonight in house. The Alkmaar were in-house 2-0 too strong for Willem II. But the visitors were often better than AZ, in the first half but had a lot of trouble to goalkeeper Esteban to pass.

The home team managed just there for rest or via Steven Berghuis. In injury time Dabney Dos Santos put the final score on the signs. AZ has now only three points behind Ajax, which has played a game less. Amsterdammers come tomorrow in action against PSV, the leader in the rankings.

FC Twente seemed a long time also on his way to a victory, after the previous four races have lost. In the 88th minute it still went wrong for FC Twente, when NAC was leveled by Erik Falkenburg. Twente had earlier through Luc Castaignos came ahead
