Atlético and Real: in two weeks plans for eighteen months – Voetbal International

The transfer ban means that the coming weeks will be crucial for Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid. In eighteen days, both clubs must carry out their transfer policy for eighteen months.

The FIFA-imposed ban comes in the summer of 2016 and also applies to the winter of 2017. It means that Real and Atlético before 1 February next should bring their selections in order for the remainder of the season and the full season.

The transfer ban casts a different light on the issues that the recently played for both clubs. So it was with Real Madrid already talk of a possible departure from Isco, Álvaro Arbeloa (pictured below) and Denis Cheryshev. In particular, Arbeloa and Cheryshev barely play, but Real Madrid can now still afford to sell them? Probably only if there are direct substitutes.

And what does this spell for the future of Gareth Bale? He has been linked for a while on a return to the Premier League, but it seems highly unlikely that The Royal in this situation, let go a top player. A new Galactico to buy as president Florentino Pérez as like doing, there’s just not. Álvaro Morata, the striker of Juventus whom Real this summer has a buy-back option, we see at least the next eighteen months not return in Madrid

Atlético probably will not contribute to a departure of the sought after Antoine Griezmann and make more haste than before with the upgrading and renewal of his contract. A sale of the especially popular in England Yannick Ferreira Carrasco (pictured with Bale) seems very unlikely. Also in the Rojiblancos will be placed to the position of possibly departing reserve players in a different light. Think of Jesús Gámez, Saúl or Ángel Correa.

It is for Atlético and Real in principle attractive to players with expiring contracts still to bond, while the usual practice of selling one year ahead of players with an expiring contract is actually less interesting. Look below what commitments expire over the next eighteen months.

Which players Atlético and Real Madrid should attract the next eighteen days to get through the next year and a half? Discuss below them on the consequences of the transfer ban on both clubs.
