Watch all the goals: Netherlands crushes Germany in European Championship hockey final with 6-1 – nrc.nl

In the final of the European Championship hockey in London Netherlands Germany by as much as 6-1 managed to defeat. Dutch scored three times off a penalty corner, and three times a counterattack with the backhand. All the goals in a row.



First quarter

Netherlands came out of the starting blocks. In the first quarter Netherlands dominated the game, which resulted in two penalty corner goals and some great opportunities ahead. NRC editor Rob Schoof who sits in the stadium:

Second quarter

Losers Finals

In the losers final Ireland managed to surprise 4-2 win at home team England. It is the first time that the Irish men managed to seize a European medal. Watch the highlights from the match here.

The Dutch women play tomorrow’s final, against the England team at home. Orange reached the final by yesterday in the semifinals to beat defending champions Germany 1-0
