Wüst halfway second round at European Championships, Sablikova in the lead – NU.nl

The 29-year-old skater Team Justlease.nl ended both the 500 meter and the 3000 meter third. Antoinette De Jong occupies the third position in the state and Marije Joling is tentatively number four.

Martina Sablikova tops the list halfway through the tournament. After the 28-year-old Czech damage in the 500 meters was kept down with an excellent fourth place they triumphed in the 3000 meters, one of her beloved distances.

Sablikova’s time of 4.03,79 marked a track record. The stayer won the European Championship four times, but its last victory dates back to 2012.

Wüst took the 500 meters just eight hundredths of a second at the Czech. In the previous editions she put her competitor at a much greater disadvantage in the opening number. At 3000 meters Wüst recorded a time of 4.07,32, over three seconds slower than Sablikova

Second place

De Jong finished handsome as second in the 500 meters, just two hundredths of Norwegian Ida Njåtun, who lost in the 3000 meter established its leadership position and dropped to fifth place.

The 20-year-old Dutch was on the 3000 meter fourth just over five seconds Sablikova. Joling started the tournament in sixth place in the 500 meters and finished second in the 3000 meter

Sunday afternoon, the 1500 meter and 5000 meter still held.

At the 1500 meter Wüst has no less than 1.53 seconds to make up on the leader of the standings. De Jong’s lag is 1.95 seconds
