West Ham United Saturday recorded a 2-0 home win against Liverpool. With the win the club from London passed the ‘Reds’ in the rankings. West Ham is now in sixth place with 32 points. Liverpool have two points less.
A visit to Upton Park played Liverpool especially for rest very moderate. West Ham came in the first half therefore already ahead thanks to Michail Antonio, who headed the 1-0.
Ten minutes after half Andy Carroll doubled the lead. Against his old club knocked the striker hit after a cross from captain Mark Noble. In the closing stages urged Liverpool still for a moment, but West Ham remained fairly easy going.
