In his previous two parties in London Barneveld Van won a sensational Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith, but against Lewis he actually did not currently claim the victory.
He could certainly in the first sets his scores often do not come with the fifth-seeded Lewis and had many opportunities on his doubles. Van Barneveld lost the first set 3-0 and although all the Hague-born in the second set impressed with an ejection of 161, he had to re-set to Lewis.
As well as the following two sets despite again went a 161 finish from Van Barneveld to the Englishman, it seemed definitively decided. Lewis ran pretty simple farther out to 5-0 and Van Barneveld came back to 5-1 it seemed only for the statistics.
The setwinst however gave a brief revival in the five-time world champion. He came thanks to some fine finishes back to 5-3. In the ninth set Van Barneveld had no answer on the game of Lewis. He survived a match dart, but did not lose much later time

Klaasen
Later on Saturday Klaasen could not take care of Dutch success. Defending champion Anderson threw strong with high scores and a high finish percentage.
The highlight was a moment in the first set, when Anderson threw a nine-darter. He finished the matches at an average of less than 107.32 per three arrows.
Klaasen, which in the previous round judged a Englishman Alan Norris, threw not bad, but came just short of the Anderson really hard to make. The Scot ran from sovereign to 6-0
The final between Lewis and Anderson begins Sunday at 20:00 hours Dutch time
