Siem de Jong can make debut – Goal.com

Siem de Jong was missing last weekend even in the selection of Newcastle United, but this Saturday debut against Aston Villa

The former Ajax was this summer for 7.5 million taken from Ajax, but played to date no official match on behalf of The Magpies . Last weekend, he was not in the selection against Manchester City (0-2 defeat).

Manager Alan Pardew late on a press conference know that De Jong coming weekend against Aston Villa can play. “Siem de Jong has trained all week with the group and is in the squad for the match against Villa.”

Another former player from the Premier League is still doubtful. “Cheikh Tiote has trained apart from the group and hopefully connect to. His play is uncertain,” added the manager. “It will be a difficult game because they have a lot of confidence after utizege at Stoke City.”

Newcastle and Villa kicks off this Saturday at 13:45 at Villa Park, Birmingham.
