Dafne Schippers has been crowned Queen of the European Athletics Championships in Zurich. The Utrecht won the 200 meters her second gold medal of the championship. Wednesday she had already captured the title in the 100 meters

Dafne Schippers is the tenth athlete with double sprint gold in the history of the European Athletics Championships. She follows the Belgian Kim Gevaert, who captured the gold in the title race of 2006 in 100 and 200 meters. Schippers is the second Dutch after FBK, who in 1950 won the two sprint distances.
