Marianne Vos has sat next to the world on the path taken in the Spanish Ponferrada. The Frenchwoman Pauline Ferrand-Prévot went surprisingly with the gold run.
Fox had to settle for only the tenth place. The triple world champion was too early for the sprint and was even overtaken in the last fifty feet by the necessary riders.
