Barcelona came despite the preponderance late underway in Valencia. Neymar opened on a pass from Lionel Messi the score after 34 minutes. Moments later Messi missed a penalty. The Argentine superstar shot the ball well wide. The old football law once again that dictates that you should never take yourself if the violation is made a penalty.
