The number of football fans that last season’s start dealing with the police has increased slightly. 704 people were arrested or stopped, against 675 the previous season. This is evident from annual figures released today by the Central Information Football Hooliganism (CIV).

The vast majority of incidents occurred in league matches. These included more to confrontations between supporters, throwing fireworks and demolitions.
Police said 563 times last season minutes off. Still in his study of 60 cases, including the disturbances during the cup final in De Kuip in Rotterdam between PEC Zwolle and Ajax, with fireworks from the Ajax box on the pitch was thrown.
