More football fans in trouble with the police – Volkskrant

The number of football fans that last season’s start dealing with the police has increased slightly. 704 people were arrested or stopped, against 675 the previous season. This is evident from annual figures released today by the Central Information Football Hooliganism (CIV).

The vast majority of incidents occurred in league matches. These included more to confrontations between supporters, throwing fireworks and demolitions.
