-> Ekaterinburg (Reuters) – Li Jie holds after her bronze medal in singles also medals on the table tennis singles at the European Championships in Yekaterinburg. The 31-year-old kopvrouw of Oranje reached the finals on Sunday morning by the Portuguese Yu Fu 4-1 (11-9 6-11 11-8 11-8 11-6) defeat. Li Jie is therefore assured of silver.
Li Jie will play the final against the Romanian Elizabeta Samara. The final battle is on Sunday 15:00 (Dutch time) planned.
Saturday, Li Jie won bronze in doubles, together with its Polish partner Li Qian.
