Atlético Madrid is the towering favorite for the Champions League diptych with PSV. Diego Godin, however, is aware that the Spanish top club no underestimation may allow in these duels.
“All the sixteen teams who have qualified for the eighth finals did so on the basis of good results in the group stage. Any team that can accomplish is a tough opponent,” as the Uruguayan defender claims on the European football association UEFA website .
Godin says that not only from a professional point of view, but also because he has the experience. “Last season we played against Bayer Leverkusen. It was said that it would be easy for us, but that was very difficult. There are no bad opponents exist at this stage.”
The South American is quite aware of the opponent from Eindhoven. “They have a young team with fast players. For us it is important to get a good result. The match in Eindhoven is the key to the next round. If we get results we can finish it at home.”
